Jake Jacobsen...but we call him “One Take Jake” because perfection always comes at first request!  Hailing from Boston, this musician presents his versatility through not only his Strat, but also through his harp, slide, lyrics, and vocals.  Influenced from his past with such players as Jimmy Essery, formerly of the Allman Brothers, The Back Alley Band, Snakestretchers and Roadhouse, where he met Duke Raia, the Mighty Bad Habits guitarist, he has more than perfected his craft.

Duke Raia, the glue that holds The Mighty Bad Habits together, could fill volumes with his musical talents, experience, and recording abilities. His studio projects, both solo and with the band, have showcased some of his best work. With influences such as Fredie King, Canned Heat, and Little Feat, Duke has perfected an art of playing that leaves many a jaw on the floor.

Don't let Sam Raia's age fool ya! He may be the youngest member of The Mighty Bad Habits, but he's earned his chops! He was good enough to impress Sheryl Crow's Drummer Jeremy Stacey  during their sound check at the Verizon Center in Manchester this past summer ! Like Duke, Sam's influences include “Little Feat”, “Canned Heat”, and Freddie King.

Rounding out the young rhythm section is bassist Justin Kimball. After playing guitar for 8 years, he picked up the bass and immediately found his home laying the musical foundation in several bands. Justin has played in groups in the area ranging from big band music to acoustic rock to progressive metal, and likes to keep well rounded in all music. Having influences of anything from John Coltrane to Periphery, he is constantly pushing himself to master his instrument and musical sense.
