Nearly a year since the transformation of The Mighty Bad Habits, the band continues to soar to new heights playing Rock and Roll,
Funk, and The Blues in its purest form. Having recently returned from The Bull Run as the opening act for Joe Louis Walker, joined
on stage by Ronnie Earle, The Mighty Bad Habits have proven that The Blues, as well as Rock and Roll, are most certainly alive and
here to stay.
. Bassist Scotty Sheehan and drummer Sammy Raia continue to lay down a rock solid foundation of funk for the band, occasionally
interjecting an improvisational jazz element to the mixture of musical styles. The Mojo Hand of guitarist Duke Raia remains as confident
as ever; exuberantly laying down his style of “swampy” blues that one would swear was straight from the bayou. Meanwhile keyboardist
“88 Fingers” Tim Miskell returns as eclectic as before, injecting his unique blend of The Blues hovering somewhere between Jimmy Smith
and Ray Manzarek.
Collectively the band has opened for such acts as: Marshall Tucker, The Outlaws, The Fools, The Stompers, Luther
Guitar Junior Johnson, Henry Paul, Mick Ronson, Andy Pratt, Sleepy Labeef, and Joe Louis Walker among others.
The Mighty Bad Habits
show no signs of stopping as they’re ready to begin rocking through another year, leaving nothing but the sweet sound of the blues
in their wake. Some habits are hard to break, and in 2010, it’s still The Mighty Bad Habits
